We cordially invite you to the meeting “Zoo and Dodo to save Asia’s animals during the pandemic”! Why has the pandemic struck and what does it mean for the protection of wild animals in Asia?

For many years, we have been running and supporting projects for the protection of endangered animals in Asia, including pangolins. How many biologists can we say today: and we didn’t ?! We will share our knowledge with you and present the latest information from Zoo and Dodo projects in Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines! And be warned, it won’t be fun! Despite the news in the media, the animal protection situation in Asia has deteriorated significantly! We know this from those who are in the field now fighting for the survival of Asia’s endemic fauna! There is a shortage of funds and staff, there is a ban on movement in many areas, the authorities are busy protecting people and animal protection has gone a long way …

It will be a unique meeting because it will be held virtually for the first time. The zoo is open and of course we encourage you to visit and interact with nature, but we do not want to organize meetings in the lecture hall, so as not to endanger you.

The meeting will be held on Facebook Zoo and Dodo (www.facebook.com/wroclawskiezoo/ and www.facebook.com/fundacjadodo/) On July 29 at 5.00 p.m., they will be led by the President of the Wrocław Zoo, Radosław Ratajszczak, and the President of the Dodo Foundation, Anna Mękarska. There will be an opportunity to ask questions live, to which we will answer if possible.
